Last month members of the Union Hook and Ladder Company presented an American Flag to Commander Kelly of VFW post 7279. This flag was recovered by members of The Lindenhurst Fire Department during a tragic fire that took place on September 4th, 2019 at the VFW hall. The officers and members of The Union Hook & Ladder Co No 1 had the flag framed and returned to the VFW to show our appreciation for our veterans and their service to our country.
