Early this morning the Lindenhurst Fire Department responded to a call for a house on fire on North Kings Avenue. Upon arrival our members were met with a large volume of fire and worked swiftly to extinguish the flames. One resident did not survive their injuries from the fire. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends. This is a very tragic event and we are a community that stands together and we are here to support our local family during this trying time.
