On Sunday May 7th, 2023 the Lindenhurst Fire Department held it's annual open house during the Spring Fest in the village. There were six stations staffed by members showing CPR, Stop, Drop and Roll, vehicle extrication, hose handling, and forcible entry. After completing the stations residents were given rides on the Fire Engines. Also on hand was the Breslau Engine Company's original piece of apparatus, a hand engine from 1877. A 1936 Seagrave Engine from Chemical & Salvage Compnay 2 and our new High Water Rescue unit 1-6-25.
