On the morning of June 27th, 2022 the Lindenhurst Fire Department was alerted for a vehicle fire at South 8th Street and Kent Avenue. Third Assistant Chief Cutolo, Engines 1-6-3, 1-6-6 Ambulance 1-6-7 and First Responder 1-6-80 responded. Units arrived to find a Lexus SUV involved. 1-6-3 was first due and it's crew operated one line to quickly extinguish the fire. A second line was stretched from 1-6-6 in case it was needed. The driver of the vehicle exited the vehilce uninjured.
