Thank you to the Lindenhurst EMS team, who answered the call when I cut myself rather badly while in the garage building a fishing rod a few days before Christmas. Between the immediate response time, and perfect patient care I couldn't be more thankful and proud to have these great folks as our local EMS team. Keep up the amazing work, you are all angels. Thank you again

Just checking out your site. Grew up in Lindenhurst. My father (Irwin also known as Robbie) was a Bay Rat and spent time as Company Captain. I am a fire fighter in a small community in western NY situated on the shore of Lake Ontario. Aside from fire fighting and other common emergency responses, we also operate rescue boats on Lake Ontario from April to November. Met a former LFD member yesterday in Webster, NY : Kinley. Be Safe! I'll be back. Doug

The presentation of all the former Lindenhurst Fire Dept. Chiefs was a pleasant surprise to see. My father, Otto Sedler, Sr. was a member pre 1966, and belonged to the Engine Company and Fire Police. It brought back alot of good memories.
Thank you for saving the lives of your community. You guys deserve all the respect in the world for doing what you do. Keep up the hard work, your community appreciates you!
